Written Out Loud is a team-based storytelling program where children work together to become published authors. Pioneered at Yale and developed in Hollywood, the program assigns students to small teams led by a Story Director who teaches storytelling craft through live Zoom sessions. Between sessions, students complete writing missions applying techniques they have learned. The program culminates in a Capstone Project where each student produces a published book.
